My Story

Working as a freelance writer, I started out by writing stories, then pitching them to suitable publications. This was a very valuable experience as it forced me to assess a publication very carefully in order to produce work which would be accepted without having been commissioned first. As features started being commissioned, I realized how solid research, insightful interviewing skills and adequate time management abilities were working in my favor. I write honest stories, but respect the integrity of the subjects.

I have a box of goodies somewhere in my office. It contains children stories, travel stories, ghost stories and even a novel. All these works have not been finalized, not seen by anybody and certainly not published - yet. One day they will.

My Bio

After graduating from the School of Commerce in Lucerne, Switzerland with a Diploma in Commerce and Administration, I furthered my language education in Washington DC.

While studying, I learned some tricks of the trade as a ghostwriter for the local newspapers.

Taking a step away from writing, I ventured into the advertising business and graduated with a Diploma in Advertising and Marketing from the American Association of Advertising Agencies in 1991.

For years I enjoyed working in this very dynamic field, first in Switzerland and later in Hong Kong and Vietnam.

After the birth of my second child, I returned to my first passion - writing. As a freelance writer I can be a full time educator to my children and dedicate time and effort to a captivating story. It has been the best career move I have ever made.
